Hello dr, my son is 11 month old. He is wheatish. Now his legs have become darker and dark patches are appearing here and there. He is taking calshine p. is that any side effect of medication.

A. Using ubtan to lighten skin complexion. Ubtan or uptan, is a paste made of gram flour (besan), a pinch of turmeric (haldi) and milk, cream or curd. Sometimes a few drops of oil are added to the paste to treat dry skin.
