Hello Dr, my baby is 6 months old and he is having fever upto 100 from last three days. we are giving dolo to him but every evening his temperature increases to 100 and he cries a lot. Can you please advise.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetaffmol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
