hello Dr my baby is 5 months and 9 days old as we are planning to do rice ceremony on 22nd June 2025. Is it ok to start feeding food? Please let me know

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist8 months agoA. hello mum , baby shd b exclusively breastfed till 6 mths complete nothing else shd b given not even once there is no advantage of early introduction hold ceremony after 6 mth complete

Seetha LakshmiGuardian of a 1 yr 1 m old girl8 months agoA. hello mummy, myself being a doc, will never advise to start introducing solid food before 6 months, let ur baby complete 6 months then start with semisolid and then go for solid...so have the rice ceremony after baby becomes 6 months old. thank you.
