hello Dr my baby is 3 month old n he have cough what can I do for it

Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection ioor seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. 
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child
you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold
continue the regular diet of the child
if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctors
for fever and pain give paracetamol.
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

home remedies are all good but it would take a longer time to recover. Babies cant bear for a long time. It's better to check with doctor once and you can treat with medicines and home remedies parallely, that will help on faster recovery for the baby
