hello dr. I have one month old baby.my baby chunks nipple so hardly nd i have lots of pain.i can't feed to much.my baby is part of nipple two way uper nd down side.my nipple is to hard on uper side like a stone nd down side is soft. because of uper side so much feed blood is come out. please tell me what to do for that situation?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Rinse the breast after each feeding with water to reduce the risk of infection.
Apply a cold pack to numb the injured area before nursing. Cold can help dull the pain.
Rub a small amount of this Soframycin or nip care ointment on your nipples after every feeding.
gi e ur baby comfortable feeding position.
