Q.

hello doctor, yesterday I had growth scan. in that report I saw below statement. A well defined anechoic cystic lesion measuring 24×21mm is noted in left adnexa what does it mean. and is this cause any problem to the baby. attached report. thanks

A. Hello, your baby girl is 21 months old and she is having a swelling measuring that size nearby the organ which is examined and it may contain fluids as it’s a cystic swelling so consult with your paediatrician

A. probably at present it is not possible to you accurate diagnosis according to the report it looks like a cystic hygroma which you need not worry it can be treated after the delivery
