Q.

Hello Doctor, Our baby is 13 days old and yesterday for the first time after breast feed and a scoop of nanpro 1, she vomitted. it happened twice, however today she is fine. is that due to overfeed? or should we consult a doctor ? We want to avoid any medicines as she is just 13 days old. Please suggest. Also, is breast feed more recommended than formula milk ?

A. first of all you have to understand that formula milk is not at all advised so there is no comparison of formula milk with breast feeding baby should be given only and only breast milk till first 6 months

A. hi no need of formula. please stick to breastfeeding. mother's milk is best food for a child. keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding. make sure your child latches properly. burp your baby on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes. as you are nursing mother, eat easy to digest food. Maintain good hygiene
