Q.

hello doctor...my thyroid level was 11 when I took the blood test while I'm pregnant (2month) then I took thyrox75 then my level dropped by 4 then my doctor suggested thyrox 50.. throughout my pregnancy I took thyrox 50 and my level was 3 during 3rd trimester.....45days after delivery i checked my level it was 0.3(thyrox 50) then doc reduced my dosage to thyrox 25 then after 2months my thyroid level is 0.2..should I continue d tablet or can I drop it since my level is normal??

A. your doctor is going on right path thyroid medicines should never be stopped immediately as it may harm your body and show symptoms so better have regular follow up with your doctor and buy a consultation of your doctor manage about the medication
