hello doctor.my daughter suffering from 101.1 temperature for fever.my doctor suggest the medicines for Cefpodoxime oral suspension IP&mefanamic paracetamol syrup.so what can we used that syrup.im using the only used the oral suspension.it is ok doctor?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the first is antibiotic and 2nd is fever medicines.
you have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
it can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
weather higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p is required or not will be told by the doctor.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
important to avoid them if possible.
do body sponge to decrease the body temperature and give plenty of fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration.
