I have 19 months old baby she got fever can i give cefpodoxime antibiotic ? yesterday I gave ofloxacin antibiotic for some infection which is doctor prescribed can i give cefpodoxime antibiotic today

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. avoid self n suggested medicine specially antibiotics, it's not at all advice tk guve different types if antibiotic medicine without consulting ur doc, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

If fever is still there then you can give antibiotic to ur baby..Also consult your doctor for the same as he will guide you better in this after the proper evaluation of the baby.
