Hello doctor my daughter is one year and 3 months old. she was suffering from viral fever 4 days ago. I took her to her pediatrician and got her medication. But now the problem is she doesn't eat anything. she just refused even her favourite things. I don't know what is the problem and what to do? Please help me out.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very common that during the illness the child will not take food.
give small amount of easily digestible food to the child
many times if you take the child in garden or open area that will cheer up the child and that might improve the appetite
give regular waater and fluids to the child to improve hydration because that will also improve appetite
you can giive fruits as well as juices from the fruits which again acts as appetizer
during illness if the child takes 60% to 70% of the diet then also it's fine
