Q.

hello doctor, my daughter is 3 years old. after consultation of pedestrian we gave albendazole 5ml twice with 15days gap. now again she is feeling itchy, i.e one week after 2nd dose. can I use again syrup

A. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dosfge is 200 mg of albendatzole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor

A. Follow your doctor. As your kid is small with regards to medication, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
