Hello doctor... my baby is of 18 months old... he is having severe cold... not able to take breastfeed ... he breathes through mouth... plz tell me what to do... I have already given him relent plus syrup but still no relief ....I have already give him hot liquids, turmeric milk, honey and all but there is no relief.... plz tell me what to do... use nasoclear saline drops in nose, Tminic oral drops, give only warm water, warm turmeric milk instead of giving plain milk

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a  viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.h
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

mam,first maintain good hydration.
give Luke warm water with pinch of salt and Turmeric powder, ajwain seeds in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours.
Use Babyhug rapid relief rub on your child chest and back .
use nasal saline drops for blocked nose.
