Hello Doctor, My baby is 6 weeks old.. He has reduced breastmilk intake since 3 days.. He do not any other complaints.. What is the reason and how to increase his apetite?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. can be a phase.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

Hi If your child is full for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours also if your child is gaining a minimum of 400 g weight every month then don’t worry about it the appetite of the child is fine as per that you may be feeling that the child’s appetite is reduced but maybe your child is taking equal milk and less amount of time so its okay don’t worry about it
