# hello doctor ,my baby is 5 months 8 days old ,and exclusively breastfeeding but he gained 300gm this whole month ,and his weight is 6.7 kg should I start giving him formula milk ? as if my milk is not good for his weight gain please help

A. Hi mom Weight of ur baby is fine... If ur bm is less then yes u can start with formula milk for ur baby. There is no problem in that Also once ur baby completes six months then u can start with cerelac, daal ka pani, ripe banana, apple puree, raagi porridge, pumpkin puree etc. This will also help in weight gain of the baby
