Hello doctor my baby girl is 10months saliva is coming out of her mouth a lot I'm worried she might get dehydrated I'm making sure she drinks lot of water. Is this cause of concern or it is common in all the babies. Please advise.

A. just clean the oral cavity because it is commonly seen in tooth eruption process Your child is having teething problem during which there is swelling in the gums and the child is having irritation as well as pain and there will be drooling and excessive salivation. kindly maintain oral hygiene of the child and with the help of your clean fingers press the gums of the child to decrease the pain and if the child is crying with pain and irritation you can give paracetamol also
