hello doctor my baby girl age is 21 months now.she suffering from fever and cold now am giving Crocin for fever and t minic for cold.but it is not reducing can I give monocef o anti drug as my doctor suggested please help me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic condition and needs a proper evaluation.
steam inhalation will be very effective.
decongestant medicine like ascoril flu / wikoryl / sinarest can be given.
viral as illness could also have associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly.
