hello doctor my 2 years old son is getting body temperature 93.5 is it fever pls let me know

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children.
But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other chiauses should also be ruled out .
Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful .
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irrhitability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. Temperature at 99°F or more than 99°F is considered fever below that it is not going to be favourite lady counted as a normal body temperature for audio child so there is no need of giving any medicine to the child
