hello doctor mujhe or mere husband ko jukham khaasi h 8-10 din se gle me chubhan hoti h or khaasi ke saath blgm bhi aata h,gle me drd bhi rehta h , nak behti bhi nhi h bnd ho jati h 2 din se antibiotic bhi le rhe h pr aaram nhi aa rha h please suggest me..koi davai ya sirup ho to btaiye please koi sirious condition to nhi h

Cold most of the time is a  viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine  which should be used oncuye a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and  according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any  fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours  if required .
