If Breastfeeding u can add more garlic in ur diet which will help the baby's cold or cough and will also improve lactation. If there is any nasal congestion u can use nasal drops prescribed by ur pediatrician. You cannot do much other home remedies for babies under six months. So if the cold or cough seems to get severe it's good to consult with your pediatrician.Generally Any liquids or semisolids or Solids are advisable only after six months. Until then exclusive breastfeeding or formula alone is good for baby (not even water) as their digestive system will be still sensitive and immature. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months.
