Q.

hello doc my lo is 11months old past 2days his temp is 99 to 100.7 his head is very very hot to touch and his hands and feets are extremely cold is this normal or abnormal condition ?

A. Any temperature above 100 F is fever in babies Always measures temperature in armpits only. No need to give any fever medicine if fever is below 100 F. If asociated complaints like cough, cold, loose motion Treat that accordingly as per ur pediatricians advice. Keep ur baby well hydrated. Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day. Visit ur pediatrician once. am

A. Hi mom Maintain hydration Do sponging with salt water to relieve temperature Take a good care of your baby Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk Give adequate feeding BM contains natural antibiotics to cure any infection Give adequate feeding
