#hello doc , I am giving Vi syneral Zinc drops and D3 to my baby from her birth. Now she is 8 months old. how long should we continue giving both these syrups.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. you may discontinue zinc, but do continue vit d drops till 1 year of age. it is nessesary to give vit d3 drops till one year of age .
While breast milk is the best source of nutrients for babies, it likely won't provide enough vitamin D

But some babies may do need so As your kid is small with regards to medication, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
