Q.

Hello All, My baby is 4 month old and he took both the formula milk and breast milk. He passed the stool after 2 days gap and this has become a cycle for my baby since last 2 months. My concern is that while passing the stool he has to put extra pressure and sometimes while peeing also he has to put lots of efforts.. is it a area of concern for us??

A. Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cowse milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion vof two years of age .

A. The Dr say all these things are completely normal as you do not have to worry about this thing sometimes I can apply a lot of pressure doing both the things but as per your need to worry about so I would say that don’t worry it’s absolutely normal
