If The child is not speaking at all then you should just once can you check with the speech therapist that you know if there is a speech delay or something that needs to be addressed otherwise if the doctor say that you can wait for some more time then you should because by the age of three years also sometimes it can pick up it is little late but they do pick up very well after that
