Hallo Doctor I'm a breastfeeding mother and I have heavy back pain.... can i take pain killers for the pain.... is it going affect the baby

A. hi, you are mother of 7 months old now simple analgesic or painkiller medicine like paracteamol or ibuprofen can be taken even during breast feeding your baby without any significant problem

A. Hi mom Yes u can take paracetamol for pain. There is no problem in that. It will not effect ur baby. Secondly do hot fomenting on the back to get relief from pain. Take calcium supplements till u breast feed ur baby.
