Hai sir , my baby is 3 month old, we give formula plus breast feeding. Her born weight was3.5 and now her weight 5 kg . Her paediatric suggested to give 10 drops of coconut oil during each feed for weight gain. Is it safe to give coconut oil to baby?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. hi, coconut oil do help to increase weight of babies.. you may give, but it should be pure edible one.. or may feed more often n longer, or may give formula milk.

nothing else
you can start vitamin supplement as zincovit consulting your pediatrician
