hai My 2 yr 4 months old baby girl suffering from fever I gave fepanil 250mg syrup and after 2 days temperature became a low. and then I consult a doctor because she having a little hot in neck and head. then doctor told continue this syrup, but temperature do not became low you give Meftal p syrup, and then after tow days she is not became normal then you should start antibiotics. now I give Meftal p syrup to my baby now also her four head and neck is hot. and now my doubt is I give antibiotics and Meftal p syrup only or only antibiotics or fepanil and antibiotic ?

antibiotics as given by doctor.
if fever is present then only fever medicine to be given.
for fever and pain, give paracetamol according to the child's weight and medicine strength, up to four times daily. sponge to reduce fever. consider fever if armpit temperature is 100°f or higher. use stronger medicines, like ibugesic and mefenamic, only after consulting a doctor. see a doctor if no improvement in three days. keep the child in a cool environment.
