A. Don't worry! It's perfectly normal for a 3-month-old's poop to be green in color. As long as your baby is eating well, seems happy and active, and is having regular bowel movements, there's nothing to be concerned about. Keep an eye on things, but rest easy knowing that green poop is usually nothing to worry about. There are several possible reasons why a 3-month-old's poo might be green in color, including: 1. Diet: If the baby is breastfed, the color of their poop can be affected by what the mother eats. If the baby is formula-fed, the formula could be the cause of green poop. 2. Iron supplements: If the baby is taking iron supplements, it can cause the poop to take on a green color. 3. Infection: If the baby has a bacterial infection, it could cause green poop. 4. Allergies: Allergic reactions to certain foods or medications could cause green poop. 5. Medical conditions: Certain medical conditions such as celiac disease or cystic fibrosis could cause green poop. 6. Teething: When a baby is teething, their poop may become green due to the increased amount of saliva they swallow. If the green poop persists or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, it's important to consult a doctor.

A. Healthy poop can be shades of yellow, orange, brown, or green, and the texture may be runny to fairly firm. It should not be hard or watery.
