POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. High TSH and low free T4 concentrations on serum testing confirm the diagnosis of primary hypothyroidism. Treatment with levothyroxine is indicated immediately, with initial dose of 10–15 µg/kg/day. High TSH and normal free T4 or total T4 concentrations suggest subclinical hypothyroidism.
