ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear mum, what is your baby's current weight in the 4th month? if your baby has been gaining at least 500 grams per month and is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones then your baby's health is fine. for healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. at one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
