Good morning Doctor..My son is 2months old and his weight is 3.7 only...he is very lean..and I'm breastfeeding him I think my milk is not sufficient for him..can you suggest any alternative

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. see try to feed him properly. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and please give your baby breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months and also baby weight should be double the birth weight in first six months and if baby is doing pee six to eight times then it means baby is having sufficient milk.
