Good Morning Doctor, my baby is 17 days old. How long can I give water to her as she is on mother's feeding n lactogen

A. newborn don't need water, Till 6 months of life , breastmilk or formula milk is both food and drink for your baby. It is all they need, even in hot weather

A. babys milk has got enough water content in it. Additionally water isn't required. Giving water will fill baby's tummy with zero nutrients. And later because of fullness they avoid having milk wich is full of nutrients. Water is just seri calories rather milk can be given which already has water content in it.
