Good morning doc...there is a concern abt Heera's bowel movement...meaning she drops hard pellet stools little by little although there has not been any significant diet change...once in two days only she passes free motion ...cld you tell me the reason and a treatment for that

A. Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many where the most important causative factor is decrease intake fiber rich diet along with lesser fluid intake. some food like junk food mostlgy containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition.f here the diet modification should be tried first followed by medications like lactulose milk of magnesia and muout powder.

A. hi dear If your child is straining while making a bowel movement, this may be a sign of constipation. Constipated babies often produce very hard, clay-like stools. Hard stools can be difficult to pass, so they may push or strain more than usual to pass the waste. They may also be fussy and cry when having a bowel movement.
