Good Evening Mam On 2 or 3 occasions we have noticed that the baby is shedding small drop of tears(1-2 drop)....sometimes moist eyes .....so just want to ask you, do we need to visit the doctor or its ok ??? The baby is 10 weeks as of now Pls guide.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 2 months old and she is having mostly a dacriocystitis or cold and nasal congestion so don’t worry just massage her nasolacrimal ducts daily at bath

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. this is quite natural most of the babies will be having some blocked nasolacrimal duct it is sufficient if you can do massage from the corner of the eyes downwards
