Q.

good evening doctor . my son is getting low fever around 99.5F it shows twice in a day from last 3 days ..once paracetamol syrup is given he comes to normal condition . please give suggestions in this

A. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child with the help of a digital thermosmeter and if it is 100 f (37.7 c) or more then you consider it as fever or when you take the temperature in the oral cavity . of the child and if it is 99 degree fahrenheit then you consider it as fever and then paracetamol is given. along zwith paracetamol continue body sponge and keep the child in light clothes.

A. fever is repeatedly coming visit the doctor monitor temperature at regular intervals then you can give crocin ds syrup keep baby well hydrated water helps maintaining body temperature
