Q.

good afternoon doctor... my one year son is always having cough.. He is using nipple bottle. Is nipple bottle is harmful?

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which shouldh be given only aftegyr a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

No no it is completely normal so don’t worry about that a lot of kids take feeling like this only that’s completely fine I don’t see anything wrong with that it is just that you have to maintain proper hygiene by cleaning the bottles properly whenever you feed before and after sterilise the bottle properlyWrite Your Answer Here
