Good afternoon doctor, my daughter is 1 year 3 months old. This morning I saw her urine slightly Red.... and after some time exactly the same colour as her urine. yesterday evening I gave her beetroot soup is it possible some time beetroot also affects urine colour.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Beet root juice also affects the color of the urine. Please stop giving the juice to the baby and then check the urine color after one day. If it is still slightly reddish in color then it is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. Otherwise no need to panic.
