Gd Mrng Dr, My 2 yrs baby girl is constantly develop of using Honney Nipple in her mouth, specially during sleeping time. Hv it any side effect for excessive uses ?

A. it need ti be seen. Pediatrician should be consulted for the problem you have mention as it is very difficult to comment on the problem without examination of the baby so it is advisable to go for the examination of the baby first before any treatment.

A. Using honey nipple will aggrevate this problem as child continoously suck on nipple with out any milk on sucking there are chances of swallowing air which again will aggrevate your problem of gases. More over that honey nipple can cause toothing delay or defects and speech delay. It can also cause infections.
