Q.

for 2 month old baby girl Please provide some consultation.She is in much pain after vaccination .I have given her paracetamol.

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximums 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continuesx beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Paracetamol is best to be given on to the area where the vaccination has been given keep doing compress with ice cube regularly that me to help in setting down the swelling and pain and paracetamol can be repeated after six hours that’s the best that you can do
