ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, for 6 months baby, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. You can give foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer.
Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time.
Continue to breastfeed.

Once your baby turned six months old and you can start giving solids and water to your baby in starting few days give everything in a fruit from black Dal Ka Paani, rice water, vegetable soup, fruits Purees and with the time you can increase the food item in babies regular diet plan. Baby should take at least four meals in a day
