A. Dear mum, as a breastfeeding mother you should have small frequent meals. Have a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Have protein sources like eggs, beans, pulses, milk and milk products like curd, paneer. You can have non veg food like chicken, fish, meat. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseeds. Have adequate fluid intake.
