I am glad that you breastfeed your baby. Because not all mummies are able to do due to so many reasons. You are a mom of 8 months old, so may be you have already started weaning solids to your baby. You can continue breast feeding as long as you want to. It’s a beautiful way to connect with your baby so enjoy the moment, babies don’t stay babies forever.

ideally, mother should give breasfeeding upto 2 years age
but if any of you,I mean,you or your child, not feeling comfortable with it,start weaning after age of one year

hi, I would recommend to keep breastfeeding as baby is very small unless you are seeking separation from. baby due to employment or any other reason. please continue breastfeeding at least till baby is 1.5 or 2 years. 
If you still want to do bottle feed try it once or twice a day so that baby gets used to it and later continue it for all the feeds. thanks
