Q.

During my early pregnancy tests my TSH report was high and indicated thyroid harmone deficiency and i was suggested to take 50 mg thyronorm tablet throughout my pregnancy. Now i have delivered my baby last month and still continuing to take the tablet. So as i am breast feeding will the medicine effect my baby?

A. No don’t worry about it you can continue with the medicine and again repeat the test to know the values now and if the reports are normal then it’s dose can ge reduced after consulting the doctor
