Q.

does nasal aspirator closes baby's anterior fontanelle..my baby is 3 months old and his soft spot is disappearing doctors said it should close after a year does anybody's baby gone through this is this normal??

A. yes they are fontanelle and usually they will close by maximum 18 months of age and only sometimes by 2 years of age. they are normally present in all infants and is important for the development growth of the brain it is important to see that the child is not suffering from calcium and vitamin d deficiency as well as the child is not having any other complaints because their deficiency is the common cause of delayed closure of fontanelle.z z

A. hi well, ideal age of the closing is around 18 months. so it's too early which indicates complications in skull development kindly visit your pediatrician,it is very important.
