ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. generally no. Sometimes the mucus is part of a normal process. Babies who are breastfed may be more likely to have mucus in their poop ..which is normal.
Other times, it can be a sign of an underlying infection or medical condition that can cause mucus in stool, including infections, allergies, and more.
