Doctor suggested iron syrup daily for 3 months to my 1 year baby. After giving syrup, her poop sometimes look black. Is it normal?

If your child is low on iron then yes the doctor can advise you to start giving iron supplement and iron supplement can lead to constipation also and can also lead to black coloured motion both the things are normal to be seen by the child is having iron supplement on a regular basis
