Q.

doctor My daughter is 3 years old but she doesn't sit for potty and don't want to remove her pent too she always ask for pee at even 3'o clock at night but she always stand for potty and doesn't remove her pent. what should we do. we tried for potty chair but she didn't like to do it on chair. please suggest how to train her for potty

A. potty training and toilet training should be initiated as soon as the child completes one and half years of age. avoid before that except if you feel that the child is giving cues when he or she wants to pass stool. also good deemonstration has to be given again and again to the child to reinforce the habit. make the child sit on potty seat daily so that the child gets accustomed and not fearful of the seat and situation kindly go through various articles on potty training on firstcry.

A. Hi mommy Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
