Q.

Doctor, I m pregnant, completed 2 months, my doctor suggested for blood tests. In my thyroid report, it's positve, while the value is in range but doctor recommend thyroxine sodium 25 mg. I am confusing when my report is normal why doctor recommend medicine.

A. Thyroid Medicine is being advised during pregnancy , just to have precaution as there are many chances that it may increase suddenly so you should take the Medicine even if your levels are in normal state
