Q.

Delay of around 1 week from due date of vaccine may cause any harm to 2 month baby?? #Vaccination

A. Thanks for your kind response..please tell if vaccine can be taken from any hospital or clinic..is it mandatory to get it from the same hospital where baby is born..does vaccine quality differ if it is taken from other hospital??

A. that's fine there should not be a problem if you postpone it for maximum one month but after that it is not advisable because the child become susceptible to the vaccine preventable disease. try to get a vaccination as early as possible for first one year to 2 year of age. except one or two vaccines almost all vaccine can be given at any age and the advantage of the vaccine starts when it ics given to the child. meet your doctor who will tell you which vaccines can be given at this age as well as whether any booster dosage is required or not

A. Hi, one week delay should be okay. But get the vaccination on time which is very important for baby. If it is within 10 days it should be good. But please consult your paediatrician and get it done as early as possible.
