Q.
dear doctors .. my son is 2 months 7 Days old. 2 weeks before he passed motion for 4 days and 3 days once...and then two days once ...and day before yesterday he passed 2 times and from yesterday he passed motion 3 times ... once he had BM in next few minutes he passed motion.. please guide me is there any issue.. am giving only BM and no formula milk... is darolac syrub will cure the issue? it was advised by our pediatric before... pls assist

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age darolac syrup will not solve the issue because it is not for constipation
